I was using iTunes to backup to the iCloud my second generation iPad Pro with the latest iOS update. The Bitdefender (BD) blocked a file during the backup. BD produced a message indicating that the file was a trojan. BD said that the file was located (or trying to be written to) on my MacBook Pro at the following:
/Users/myusername/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/414cdcb0cbd8882cd9408559fba7988a6fe3c600/Snapshot/43/4333b7e7e392b7e68468174e3b98a66d2c8aae0e
This file doesn't exist at this location. Thus, I assume the file exist on my iPad and was using my MacBook as a conduit to backup my files to iCloud. The backup did not succeed because of this. So my question is
Is my iPad Pro being used as virus delivery system to either a Mac OS or a Windows system as it's target? I can't find a trojan virus on the iPad and I have no indications that anything is affecting the iOS or my usage.
