I had to uninstall Bitdefender 2019 due to its falsely identifying the cloud backup service, Backblaze [backblaze.com] as ransomeware.
Bitdefender quarantined the application and prevented me from utilizing the Backblaze service. It should be noted that Bitdefender 2018 "played well" with the application before I updated to the 2019 version.
I want to continue using Bitdefender, but will not do so until it leaves Backblaze and all associated files alone.
How do you communicate with the Bitdefender application to "tell it" to leave Backblaze alone?
I know when Bitdefender "questions" some suspicious applications, the user can mark the application as "safe". I cannot, however, do the same with an application it identifies as ransomeware.
Any suggestions to resolve this would be appreciated.
Until a "workaround" is found for this irritating problem, I am forced to use a competitor's security program that "accepts" Backblaze as a "safe and legitimate" application.
