Question if Bitdefender is working

I run the deep scan on my Mac in it finished in less than a second. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but it does the same thing. I got an email from my internet provider saying I have some bot on one of my computers. Other than phones or an iPad it is the only computer I have.

Usually, those kind of emails are scam attempts. Please make sure that is indeed from your email provider, and it's not a case of email spoofing. 

As for the issue itself, please access the Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac preferences -> Protection -> disable the "Scan only new and changed files", and check if the scan still completes too fast.
