Legitimate applications are blocked

I just installed Bitdefender for Mac. It blocked the application Dr. Cleaner Pro from launching. I tried adding it to the Allowed list under the Ransomware section, and I listed it as an exclusion in the antivirus section, and then restarted my computer.

This didn't work. It still won't open. I've searched online for ways to try to allow applications that Bitdefender blocks, but they all seem to be referring to the Windows version, not the Mac. The menus and options they reference don't seem to exist in the software I have.

What can be done to allow legitimate applications to run?

Please send us the detected files at bitsy@bitdefender.com in order to verify if the detection is false and remove the detection, if needed.

The file is an entire application. I am not legally allowed to distribute applications to others.

Also, I cannot find any log of the exact files anymore. Where can I get a list of the blocked applications within the app?

Also, when I do a "Custom Scan" of just the application file, it says "no threats were found." But it is clearly Bitdefender that is blocking it. I saw a quick pop-up message during my first scan saying something about the application, but I can no longer find that message. Yet the app is still blocked.

Also, please open Bitdefender and check on History tab for any notifications. Please let us what notification was received. In case was something similar that the file was found infected, unfortunately, we need a sample for analysis.
