Hi,
Please send us some encrypted files along with the ransom note at bitsy@bitdefender.com and our team will further look into this.
I have the same thing but with the .pkwxuuzxut extension. please help me I have about 4TB of files lost from the encryption.
Attached is the decrypt.txt file left and the FRST file I create when I ran the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool. I also have the Addition.txt file but it wont let me upload it.
I downloaded BDGandCrapDecryptTool and saved to my desktop, but when I go to run it I get the user account control window asking to allow changes which I click yes and then nothing, goes right back to my desktop.

Hi tmwantz ,
I have only 8 GB of fotos and documents ,but 4 TB of files is verry mutch.
you have to save the 4 TB to a extendet harddisk ,or the most valual files at least.
we have to wait for a working decryptor.
i have sent a mail whit 10 encrypted files and the randsome note to bitsy@bitdefender.com .
Bitdefender is working on it for a solution.

Hello, There are also several "mini-versions" of Gandcrab 5.0.4 , most of which cannot be decrypted at this time by our tool. No ETA on when an updated encryption tool would be available, I cannot even guarantee such a tool will exist at all. If you have a ticket ID, please post it here, and I will let you know if we could use any further information from your side. In general, we recommend saving the encrypted files and checking on here from time to time, in case a decryption tool becomes available: https://labs.bitdefender.com/tag/bitdefender-ransomware-recognition/
Thank you!
Hello, I also have an issue with this version of virus. Any news? I am willing to try any beta version also.

I AM SAVED! I managed to restore my files with ShadowExplorer. I have used the portable version. If I may, I will add a link here.

I have connected the infected HDD to another PC via an USB interface, I have started the ShadowExplorer app and it has 5 shadow copies from every file from infected PC. So, I wish you good luck! https://www.shadowexplorer.com/downloads.html

Hello,
Our team replied to your ticket. As my colleague said , unfortunately, the files were encrypted by a newer version of Gandcrab ransomware, which is currently not supported by our tool. We recommend you to backup the files and check from time to time if a tool is uploaded on: https://labs.bitdefender.com/tag/bitdefender-ransomware-recognition/
Recovery Scan Tool. I also have the Addition.txt file but it wont let me upload it.
