How to get rid of Bitdefender Wallet from Windows Explorer

I'm not using the Bitdefender Wallet feature and yet I have it in Windows Explorer under the View-Options menu as seen in the screenshot below.

Not a big deal but would be nice if there was a way to get rid of it (not sure why it ends up here in the first place when not enabled?) when you don't use it.

  • Hello WebMaximus,

You may disable the Wallet from Windows Explorer by removing the Wallet from Internet Explorer:

    - open Internet Explorer

    - click on the cogwheel

    - click on Manage Add-ons

    - from Toolbars and Extensions click on Bitdefender Wallet and select Disable

  • Hello Roxana,

    Thanks!

Currently I don't have IE installed on my PC so won't be able to follow your instructions but could install it I guess just to perform the steps you suggest and then uninstall it again.

  • Installed IE, followed your steps and worked like a charm!

    Thanks :)
