Is AV for Mac always running?
Once it is installed and set up, with an initial scan completed, is AV for Mac always running or do I have to click the icon in the apps menu to actually start the program in order to monitor for threats?

Hello Peter,
Once Antivirus for Mac is installed, the product runs in the background, you do not need to open the product in order to monitor the threats. However, it is recommended to run at least once a week a System Scan.
