I have two Pc and both have separate AV solutions. The other one I am using has an avast installed. Sometimes I get a notification saying my router is infected. Is it really possible for a router to get infected? Or it's just adware messing with me?
Hi Jackson,
Definitely a scam pop-up, possibly adware. If you have it show up only on a specific page you can send us the URL to have a look at it.
If it shows up randomly, I'd recommend firstly following this article:
https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/2574/
If it persists afterwards, I'd recommend sending us a few screenshots showcasing it and a BDSYS log:

Have a great day ahead!
This is exactly the popup I am getting. Seems logical but you would understand more. Do let me know!

Hi Jackson22,
In the link provided says that the notifications are from Avast. Do you receive the notifications from Avast? If this is the case, it is recommended to contact their support.
The consumer product protects locally. If you want to protect the router as well, we have a different type of product, Bitdefender Box.
