bug - bitdefender locked me out, missing desktop, cannot run files

Hello,


 


I was renaming files  from my windows Image folder using jvtools and bitdefender flagged it, then I set bitdefender to allow access to the folder.


After that, i couldn't run anything, I rebooted and my desktop shortcuts are gone, only a few were left... to make matters worse: I can't use my pc, I cannot run files, I cannot access the internet.


I get this prompt whenever I run a file. Its in portuguese, but it reads: "Not possible to open these files" "Your security settings hiindered one or more files from being opened."


 


I am using bitdefender Total Security


 


Please, help  me.

  • Just bought bitdefender and installed now I am locked out. Asking for password I never had? This is so irratating! Going to cancel if can't get problem sorted tonight
