Unless "C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\RDR2.exe" is added to Advanced Threat Defense / Settings / Excepted Applications the game will crash at the launch screen. No log of an exploit or block is made in any Bit defender log.
Executable file is too large to attach to false positive report form (~85MB). Also /index.php?/topic/81612-red-dead-redemption-2-game-crashes-unless-added-to-advanced-threat-defense-exceptions/" rel="">posted to Bitdefender 2020 / PROTECTION forum.

This situation was solved by Rockstar Games via a hotfix. Let me know if you are still encountering this issue.
