Sending Laptop for Repair
Hey everyone, I will be sending my laptop in for screen & keyboard repair & need tips on what I can do using Bitdefender to keep my data from being looked at by nosy employees, the last time I sent it in to repair a bad hinge they unlocked it to "remove a virus" even though I had Bitdefender on so I knew it was clean, I didn't secure anything at that time because it was new & all I had to do was log out of my accounts but now I have a lot of work & personal photos, documents, etc... Will using file vaults alone be enough?

Using filevaults will indeed be the safest way to go in case you would like to ensure that no one has access to your personal and work related files.
Keep in mind that the vault's password cannot be changed, thus, you must make sure that the password is not lost.0
