VPN uses around 87% of my iPhone battery (latest iOS) so I am always having to recharge. I have deleted the VPN in frustration. I run the VPN on my iPad and it uses much less battery, around 32%. Still high but I can live with that.

The Bitdefender VPN will indeed use quite a lot of battery if it is turned ON during the entire day, however, this is normal due to the encryption process that is constantly kept active by the applications running in the background. We recommend using a VPN while connected to unsecured wireless networks, or when you deem that extra privacy would be necessary.
