Installation didnt go through, downloded file not running, acoount saying activation already used

Hi,

I bought the bitdefender total security through amazon for 1 year, i got the activation code in email. I followed the instruction to create the account and gave the code and downloaded a installation file. I ran the file it downloaded 500 MB file and during installation it found an uncompatible software and asked to uninstall it. I uninstalled it. System restarted, but the installation didnt start, the downloaded file is not running anything. When tried to look at my account it is asking for the subscription again, but when i gave the code it is not accepting as it is already used.

Please advice. I have sent an email to bitsy@bitdefender.com. But this is frustrating to go through all of these even after payed the money for this app. really not happy with this service or the way it is being installed unlike other apps. this will tend people to go towards other application than this. there is no point in paying money and wait for issue to be resolve, i paid to get the app not issue and frustration

    First I would like you to have a look at below stated link, if your error matches any of the below issue mentioned in the bitdefender website : https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/19617/

    If not, then follow the below steps.

    Download Bitdefender removal tool : https://www.bitdefender.com/files/KnowledgeBase/file/Bitdefender_2020_Uninstall_Tool.exe

    Next, Download Bitdefender total security trial : https://download.bitdefender.com/windows/installer/en-us/bitdefender_tsecurity.exe

    If successfully installed, bitdefender central login windows will open. Kindly enter you login details to which your 1 year key is attached.

    If everything looks good, 1 year Bitdefender protection should get activated.

    In worst cases, if it does not, you have already mailed to bitdefender support at bitsy@bitdefender.com, kindly note that reply from support may take time due to limited staff and covid19 issue, but you will get response asap.
