Have to reinstall Bitdefender Total Security?

I tried Bitdefender Total Security trial edition for a bit and decided to purchase it. After receiving the key, most of my devices are now at risk. I reinstalled on my computer and it is no longer at risk. That is the only way I could find to have my devices not at risk. Is there another way to get my devices updated besides reinstalling?
