New Dude...First Question

Now that I have BD installed and running, I am getting prompts at system boot up, that my Win Defender, and firewall have been turned off. I did so as prompted by the BD SW when loading. Is it alright to turn them back on?, or would doing that create a bad disturbance in the WWW...or something otherwise disastrous....

Hi Member,

Whenever you install any of the anti malware software the windows defender switches off automatically and it cannot be turned on with any of the available options or tweaks. Same goes for the firewall (but in case of firewall this holds true only when the anti malware solution has its own firewall available within its product)

Though with the any of the installed anti malware solution, you can only activate periodic scanning of windows defender only.
