bit defender scan took more than 6 hours, and sometimes it stuck on 34%

my bit defender full system scan takes very long time, please suggest me something? should i reinstall it??

Well, Kindly follow below instructions.

1) Restart pc in safe mode (https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/12376/windows-10-start-your-pc-in-safe-mode)

2) Open run command again and run below command one by one :

temp ,delete all the files in the folder

%temp% ,delete all the files in folder

prefetch ,delete all the files in folder

C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download,delete all the files in folder

3) Run Windows 10 Disk cleanup (https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/4026616/windows-10-disk-cleanup)

When dialog box opens, click on clean up system files and click ok.

Afterwards, tick all the available options that are currently unticked, click ok & wait for process to be completed.

4) Run Windows Defragmenter (https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/4026701/windows-defragment-your-windows-10-pc)

5) Restart PC in normal mode by disabling the option you selected to enter safe mode in point number 2.

6) Scan with Bitdefender again

Additionally, make sure your system has the minimum requirements to run bitdefender products smoothly.

Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it, but it still occurs 😥, I think that's what happen after not installing any antivirus for over a month... anyway, I will backup my data and do a hard reset... I think that will solve my issue
