I got an email from a hacker stating that they had taken control of my computer and webcam and had recorded my wife in her underwear. Hacker says i must pay bitcoin or they will make my life a living hell. What should i do? Please help.

There is no way to confirm whether they have the data or not.

You can take below steps to protect your identity :

1) Contact your local cyber crime department immediately.

2) Report the email as spam/ phishing to your email provider :
