Installation Failed message

I'm getting what looks like a generic Windows "Installation Failed" dialog box while installing Bitdefender Family Pack using a link on a relatively clean, new PC. This doesn't sound like any of the installer fails described under support and there is no error code. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling three times and always get the same error. Any idea what this might be?

After I press the OK button, installation completes with no other error messages. Scans complete successfully and Bitdefender appears to operate normally.

Background: New Ryzen 5 PC, new Win10 installation about 2 months old, PC only used occasionally, PC has second drive that is set to "Offline" in Disk Manager (2nd drive is an alternate boot drive), third drive shared between the two boot drives.
