My trial period is nearly over but when I click the buy now button/link nothing happens.....what am I doing wrong...how can I buy it

To which buy now button are you referring to? Are you trying to access an offer received in Central, or you wish to make the purchase on the official website? Can you post a screenshot please?

Now in 2026 I am trying to buy a BD subscription from my trial page which offers a buynow button; then on the product page I click individual Total security ; it specifies 1 year but does NOT give the first year price, and the BUY NOW button only zips to the top of the page. How do I actually buy the darn thing? Please advise ASAP. Thanks.

It sounds like the 'Buy now' button is behaving like an anchor/link back to the top instead of opening the cart… Go to the official Bitdefender website and check the 'Renew or Upgrade' page and select Total Security from there:

Discounts may be campaign-specific and the trial page may not be passing the offer correctly. The first-year promotional prices apply only to the first subscription term and later renew at the applicable renewal price (usually full list price).
There are of course a few steps to try that could fix the behavior you are experiencing, if this is not actually caused by a broken landing page/cart:
Another thing to keep in mind, the page may be failing to load the pricing component or detecting the wrong region. Make sure the country selector/website region matches your billing country. Avoid mixing a trial page from one country with a product page from another country.
