Parental Control Application Monitoring prevents Google Apps from working
Options
When I installed Parental Control on a laptop, it prevented the Google Apps from working. I had to disable 'Monitor Apps Used' for the Google apps to work.

You can allow the Google App from here:
Access Parental Control using Central, select the child’s profile and click on OPTIONS > Applications from the top right corner of the screen. Then click on MANAGE APPLICATIONS, select the app and choose "Allow".
