Locate device - WiFi vs Ethernet???
I have BitDefender installed on 5 devices ... 2 Windows laptops and 3 Android devices. All of the devices are on the same network ... the laptops via Ethernet and the Androids via WiFi. All using DHCP for IP address assignment. When i go to locate the devices .... the Androids are showing the correct location ... my house. When i try to locate the laptops - they are showing a location about 10 miles away .... with an both with the same external (to my network) IP address. As a test i took one of the laptops off the Ethernet and connected via WiFi ..... with the WiFi connection BitDefender finds the correct location. I compared the IP configuration between the laptops with ethernet and WiFi and both have the same gateway, DNS, etc. Any ideas what is going on?
Thx
