What the hell is BitDefender Problem with Nicehash!??!?
Hello, I am about to literally ask for a refund for all my products. It's freaking insane the level of aggressiveness towards nicehasminer, its impossible to run it, even with exceptions, I have done everything there is to be done, created a folder, made exceptions to the folder, exceptions to everything in it, every file, nad every program related to it, and still, keeps deleting it and blocking it, even when I totally disable BitDefender and every protection functionality. It's insane. And what pisses me off the most is that I don't see this aggression towards REAL trojans! I have tried it!
In conclusion, what is the Hell Bitdefender problem with crypto mining?!!
It's infuriating.

Hello @Veritus and welcome to our Community.
The discussion on Nicehash is not a new one. You can find the full thread here (other users, life yourself, are not happy about Bitdefender blocking it): https://community.bitdefender.com/en/discussion/comment/303212#Comment_303212
That's the long read. The short one is this: no respectable security vendor will leave gaps open for the mass users to get exposed from less-than-secure pieces of software, even if a small part of advanced users (like yourself) are extra cautious and know how to deal with potential threats.
cheers,
Mike

That's is understandable. BUT what's not understandable why Bitdefender doesn't respect configured exceptions!
I managed to get Bitdefender and Nicehash working side-by-side. But after some time weeks/months Bitdefender simply starts ignoring the exceptions and start blocking it. This has happened 5-6 times now and it's really pissing me off..

I will be going further and closing this post since currently there is nothing additional that can be done from bitdefender end related to nicehash software. The detection will stay and will not be removed. If you want to use the software kindly follow the above stated solution that were provided regarding setting up the exclusions.
If you want to reopen the post, kindly contact @Alexandru_BD or @Mike_BD
