windows 10 does not resolve linux server name

Hi, since I installed Bitdefender my Windows 10 pc cannot resolve the name of a linux server I have in my home networks.

I.e. I cannot even ping the linux server by name.

Using its ip address works fine.

Pinging any other (Windows) pc on the networks works as expected.

I think this behaviour is caused by some firewall setting, but I cannot find out which.

Can anyone please help?

Hello @raul_73 and welcome to the Community!

When was the first time this happened? Have you made any significant changes on your PC (hardware update, system restore, major Windows update or anything similar). This issue was not present before installing Bitdefender?

Did Bitdefender give you a notification regarding this?
