Forgot Password Manager master password

I am using the trial version of Bitdefender Password Manager. I have forgotten the master password and never wrote down the recovery codes, my bad. If I purchase password manager, will I be able to get a new master password/recovery code?

    Hello :)

    Since it's already been tied in with your Central account, I believe the only way about it, in getting a new recovery key is for support to reset your PM account. If you originally saved when prompted, to keep a copy of, save the Recovery Kit to a PC, try doing a C:/ search for Recovery kit or Bitdefender Password Manager Recovery kit, and see if it finds it?

  • I found the Bitdefender Password Manager Recovery kit with the recovery ID. But when I copy and paste that into the screen asking for it, I get a "Don't recognize that recovery ID."

    AND there is no next step shown. So what do I do? No phone number! No email! No URL!

    Frankly this has been the WORST experience I've ever had trying to install software. I am about ready to call it quits and go on to the next anti-virus software!

    But, I do keep getting in window pop-ups enticing me to Ask a question. I click on one of these and found that these are NOT Bitdefender. It seems really ridiculous to me that an anti-virus software allows such sham screens to come on THEIR windows! Share on you!

    Try hand typing the password, recovery ID into the submission box and see if that works. Sometimes I've found those type of fields don't like copy and paste very well.

    Select, How Tos & Troubleshooting→Troubleshooting and go through the prompts until you get to the black Contact Support box. You will have the the options of Chat, Call or Email. Chat is the quickest way to get thing started, phone support is not toll-free.

    Also, try running a system scan as far as the pop-up. And just in case, is this article:
