Unknown scan
I had a user complaining of his machine freezing. Around the same time, he noticed BD scanning a network drive that is specifically excluded.
The policy specifies 2 scans, a Quick Scan and a Daily scan. The Scan log shows this:
The "Device Scan" is the offending one, scanning only the network drive. I can't find where it is initiated from.
Yes, hourly Quick Scan is excessive. It has been rectified.

Hello @sadam,
Is the device scanning happening for a certain drive, such as Google Drive or One Drive or is it an external drive? I would check the settings for such drives and also check the overall scanning settings, as it might be prompted whenever a new storage device is being accessed.
If all of the above are ok, I strongly suggest contacting the Enterprise Support team as proper troubleshooting should take place.
