How do I stop Defender from deleting my dodgy files.
I have various files that bit defender deletes.
It warns me suspicious file found! it deletes it, no quarantine !
The quarantine folder is always empty.!!!, 30 day delete disabled
Its ok If I have the folder in the exceptions, but it I happen to move the file it grabs it and Poof its gone !
I don't mind it finding it, I would be happy if it put it into quarantine, but no .. GONE !
Not a single item becomes recoverable, we need a button in notifications to be able to restore and exception, or am I not seeing this as its deleted the file.
I have to keep turning off bit defender to move files around, that would be fine if I didn't have to make half a dozen clicks to turn it on and off..
Why cannot we have a right click 10 min disable on the tray icon.
I don't think our company will be renewing its subscription, it just doesn't work how we need it to work, it works how Bitdefender think we should be working.
