Constant CPU activity
This morning I noticed that Bitdefender has begun constantly using between 5% and 9% of my CPU. I have never had this before and just checking to see if anyone else is seeing this.

Hello, Sir_George
So far, not on my end. Here is where I'm at with build 26.0.14.63
Three different PCs, two different versions of BD.
Have you tried a PC re-start and see if it settles down after 5 minutes or so?

You should contact Bitdefender Consumer Support by e-mail:
They will ask you to send them Support Tool log, screenshots etc., so the support engineers can investigate your problem and find a solution.

If a process is still using too much CPU, try updating your drivers. Drivers are programs that control particular devices connected to your motherboard. Updating your drivers may eliminate compatibility issues or bugs that cause increased CPU usage. Open the Start menu, then Settings.

Hi @akdraw,
A maxed-out CPU can also be a sign of a virus or adware infection, which should be addressed immediately. It could also simply mean that your computer can't keep up with the tasks at hand and an upgrade may be in order.
Do you receive any critical or warning notifications from the antivirus?
