How Can I Add A Chromebook As New Device Via Link?
All I want to do is add a chromebook. I grab the link from BD central, I get the page telling me to get ready to install, but the download never starts. Any ideas anyone?

Unfortunately, Bitdefender is not compatible with Chromebook. Only Windows, Android, Mac and iOS are compatible.

Once you will be able to install bitdefender mobile security on your chromebook, it will only scan for android packages file, meaning file having extension .apk and nothing else.

Thanks for that. I'd done a search and seen talk of people being able to use it on chromebook. obviously those with Google play. Unfortunately mine doesn't support it. Oh well, thanks anyway.

If you can run it on Android, you should be able to run this on Chrome. Especially the newer generations which support Google play.

To my surprise, bitdefender does not work on Chromebook or chromebox, or kindle fire. One would think that they would mention this at time of Anti virus purchase....very dissapointing

You can install Android applications on Chromebook. Bitdefender Mobile Security can be installed as an Android application, but scanning will only be available for other android applications, thus it will not provide full coverage.
