MBAM + BD?
Running MBAM Premium and decided to use BD for extra security since I don't fully trust Kaspersky for extra protection. When I tried to download BD, it told me to remove MBAM or else it would install a lite version of BD. I didn't want to do this since there are certain conditions that make me not want to do that and so I exited the installer. Even if I did, who's to say MBAM won't pull the same trick? I am willing to remove MBAM and install it after BD if I can be certain that it won't make me uninstall BD or install a lesser version. Thank you.

Malwarebytes is compatible with Bitdefender. The thing here is that there are certain antimalware products which want that there should not be more than 1 antimalware running on a PC.
You should first install Bitdefender and after that install Malwarebytes and everything will run smoothly depending upon if you have the necessary ram and processor to support the utilization of the resources that these both may take.

I have been running MBAM Premium and Bitdefender Total Security since 2014 without any issues on both of my computers. It is important to create exceptions in both programs to avoid potential conflicts.
Regrettably, Bitdefender TS will not install with MBAM present, so you have to uninstall MBAM, install BDTS, and then reinstall MBAM.
The MBAM Forums contain a list of exceptions for MBAM files that you should add to third-party anti-virus programs. Hover over "list of exceptions ... " for a direct link.
Also be sure to go to the MBAM Settings, Security, Windows Security Center, and disable "Always register Malwarebytes in the Windows Security Center."
Within MBAM, just exclude the primary BD program file folders and program data folder(s).
I hope this helps. Have a great day.
Regards,
Phil
