By default, vpn does not blocks adult websites.
Business products do have the category to block adult websites while for home products you will have to manually add websites to block list with the help of parental control.
Setting up website exclusions:
Home Users:
Business Users:
Additionally you can also setup safe search in search engines to block the display of adult content result.
Google Search:
Yahoo Search:
DuckDuckGo Search:

Lol..no, don't link me with adult websites 😄😄 you did a good job above.
@sn9 With Bitdefender's VPN some websites may block its ability to be used on their websites, so it may need to be whitelisted. I know that may defeat the purpose of a VPN as far as anominity, unless the true expert 😉 of BD VPN @Alexandru_BD has any other ideas.
Kind regards,

Hi,
So, in my opinon, it has to be one of the following scenarios: either the websites are blocking the VPN connection, or Parental Control is enabled. It's also useful to know if any notifications are displayed in the process. To determine whether the problem lies within the VPN, temporarily disconnect from Bitdefender VPN and then try to visit again the site. To disconnect Bitdefender VPN, simply press the power button on the VPN interface. If the site still doesn’t load after interrupting the VPN, the issue lies somewhere else. If the site loads properly in this situation, you know it’s the VPN that is causing the issue.
To check if Parental is blocking the websites, do the following:
1. On the Privacy module click on Parental Control.
2. It will open Bitdefender Central in your default web browser. Log in if required.
3. Click on Parental Control.
4. Choose your profile, click on View, click the vertical 3 dots next to the device and click unassign.
5. Restart the browser and see if you can access the websites.
Let us know how it goes.
