Bitdefender flagging and cleaning install of DisplayFusion

I use a dual monitor program called DisplayFusion. Upon installing updates, Bitdefender will occasionally (not ever time) flag installation files - often the desktop shortcut! - and clean them, causing problems for the program and even my system.
Is anyone else having these problems?
