bbc i player spain

Hi i have seen a few commnets and just wanted a clear answer... i did purchase this so thta could watch tv when on holidays and it is not allowing me to access BBC I Player.

Should I be able to access this or not, is there a workaround if i cant (have cleared cach, tried different browers and both VPN UK locations? if its a no then this is not a product i really need....

    Hello @gareth247,

    Can you tell us what VPN app version are you using? The BBC iPlayer should be available with a VPN connection on Windows, as it has been unlocked recently.

  • am i using the most up to date version...

  • I would like to report that I am using version 25.5.6.3 inside the uk (I have a TV license and a valdi BBC log in) but cannot stream BBC radio on my laptop if VPN is on. Split Tunneling www.bbc.co.uk makes no difference neither does using one of the 2 UK servers. Tried all the 'fixes' in the support pages, makes no difference.

    Really annoying having to turn off the VPN so I can legally stream the BBC radio.


    Only a problem on windows laptop - Android/mobile works fine

    Any Help?

    The first thing you should do is to change the server location from the list of available locations. In the event the connectivity issue is present on a specific device only, I would recommend reaching our Support Teams for further investigation, as more information might be required from the affected device. The "Split Tunneling" feature allows you to route any apps/websites that won’t work with Bitdefender VPN outside the VPN tunnel, to access the Internet directly. Therefore, if the app or website cannot be accessed this way, this indicates the VPN is not the culprit in this scenario, because the encrypted connection is bypassed with split tunneling.
