Prevent Bitdefender from marking emails as spam

Options

I have regular emails from a newspaper that I subscribe to. Bitdefender marks them as spam and so Thunderbird puts them in the Trash folder.

How can I prevent this from happening?

Thanks

  • Hello,

First, check if the domains were previously added in the spammers list in Bitdefender:

    1. Click Protection on the left sidebar of the Bitdefender interface.

    2. In the ANTISPAM panel, click Settings, then open the Manage Spammers tab.

In the event domains of legitimate web-based email services (such as Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, etc.) are present in the Spammers list, the email messages received from any registered user of such a service will be detected as spam. If, for example, you add yahoo.com to the Spammers list, all email messages coming from yahoo.com addresses will be moved to spam.

Secondly, you can add domains to the 'friends list' in the same Antispam window. You can add the newspaper's domain to that list to allow the e-mails to pass.
