I would like to know with bitdefender vpn on my iPad, can it block ads on YouTube app?

Yes, some VPNs can block YouTube ads. Premium VPN does not have this capacity, however, even if a VPN has a built-in ad blocker, it might be impossible for it to block ads on YouTube.

But you can check if Adblock works for you:
