How to completely shut down the Bitdefender program?

My pc isn't the best, so when I game offline I like to shut everything unnecessary down to have the best gaming performance. How do I shut down Bitdefender completely? I don't see an option to do so. I'd rather not use Task Manager to end the process as I feel that may cause problems. I'm on Windows 11.

Or perhaps temporarily turning off Bitdefender Shield would lower its strain on my pc?

Hello.

For now, there is no option to completely shut down Bitdefender with a single click on a button, for example "Exit Bitdefender" etc.

You can only temporarily disable each module in Bitdefender, by following these steps:

Open your Bitdefender program, go to Utilities -> Profiles -> Settings and enable/activate "Game Profile".

When Game Profile is enabled/activated:

- All Bitdefender alerts and pop-ups are disabled

- Automatic Update is postponed

- Scheduled scans are postponed

- Search Advisor is disabled

- Special offers notifications are disabled
