Bitdefender VPN - Keep Getting A Message: Error 196 (TunnelDcnBlockAuth)

I keep getting a message: error 196 (Tunnel DCN blocked Auth) and am unable to open mt VPN protection. How do I fix it? This is the first time this happened. Thank you

  • 12-12-22 Still not fixed, that's 37 days and a security company can't figure out what's hacking its security.... Not a good feeling. It keeps logging off VPN.

    Does anyone know if other VPNs have the same type of problem?

  • You are not working diligently. I worked with the TAP9 connection (whatever that is) after some research- uninstalled, reinstalled, etc., several times...then lo and behold my VPN began working. It has worked for about a month without issues, then out of nowhere returns - right after a major bitdefender update. Hmm. Anyway, I'm paying a lot of money for bitdefender, and extra for the VPN. Can I file for a VPN refund?
