What Is The Meaning Of The Red "x" On The Online Threat Prevention Icon In BD Antivirus Free?
Dear Sir/Madam,
How's things?,
My question for you is i have installed your free antivirus and after clicking on the protection and after that i noticed the online threat protection has an x on the icon and couldn't change it to a green tick?, and don't know if the red x is suppose to be there or is the x remove if I moved to another antivirus version of yours?. Can you explain further?, bye

Hello.
That is just how it was designed to look, that's basically a hook with an "x" next to it.
The icon does not reflect the state of the module (enabled/disabled).
I have Bitdefender Total Security installed on my laptop and the icon for the Online Threat Protection module is the same as the one you have for that module in your Bitdefender Antivirus Free.
Anyway, to make sure all its features are enabled, just click on Settings.
Regards.

Hello,
Indeed, this is how the design of the OTP module looks like. Our UX teams have already received this feedback and they are looking for ways to improve the icon to avoid any further confusion.
This has been discussed in the thread below:
