Why does TicketMaster block use of SafePay

Received following message when trying to use TicketMaster to find tickets for a specific event:

As you were browsing something about your browser made us think you were a bot. There are a few reasons this might happen:

• You're a power user moving through this website with super-human speed.
• You've disabled cookies in your web browser.
• A third-party browser plugin, such as Ghostery or NoScript, is preventing JavaScript from running. Additional information is available in this support article.

Can anyone explain this and possibly find a resolution.

Based on the reasons displayed by the website, the issue could be related to JavaScript, or the page might require an extension to function properly. However, in the second scenario, Safepay will warn you that the website requires an external plugin. Safepay doesn't allow the installation of browser extensions in its secure environment due to vulnerabilities that pose security and privacy risks.

I suspect that TicketMaster may not allow navigation using Safepay, but this is not the secure browser's fault, most probably it has to do with their own security measures or the manner in which their website is built. As an alternative, you can use a VPN connection instead and see if the page can be accessed this way. If this is not possible, there's a chance they are also detecting VPN connections and do not allow this.

Unfortunately TicketMaster doesn't like VPN either as the same message is displayed, so that's not an option either.

Although this issue might not be the fault of SafePay shouldn't someone within BitDefender look into why a major website like TicketMaster can't be used from within SafePay. If other websites start working in the same way then it could make SafePay unusable and effectively redundant. Better to get ahead of the game in this regard and ensure SafePay always works as well as normal browsers so those of us who want to stay as safe as possible at all times can do so.

As it stands I now have to reluctantly use a normal browser when buying tickets for any event using TicketMaster.
