You can stop the auto-renewal for the Bitdefender subscription, by following these steps:
Just follow the steps as described in Method 1, because some users in the past reported that the steps from Method 2 didn't stop the auto-renewal.
Also, from my personal experience, Method 1 did/does the job.

I always cancel subscriptions of 1 year - the future is uncertain.
To say that removing the option to cancel a subscription from the dashboard and force users to go digging through documentation and forums to find out how is both predatory and very disappointing. I used to like and trust Bitdefender - now not so much.

As the website shows (scroll down to the bottom of the page for cancelation info), it's not really mandatory to cancel your subscription by yourself, should you find the process too cumbersome. You may also cancel your subscription by simply sending your request via email at: cancel@bitdefender.com and the commercial representatives will do the rest.
When it comes to cancelation using the 2Checkout account, this is natural to have, since 2Checkout (formerly Avangate, now Verifone) is the payment processor of products and services sold on the official Bitdefender website and you can use your 2CO account to manage your Bitdefender online purchases, including enabling and disabling the automatic renewal feature of your Bitdefender service.
Since Bitdefender products are not sold directly, but with the help of a vendor, it's not possible to display a single switch somewhere that stops everything, although that would be very convenient to have, it can't be done because there are multiple settings, platforms and flows involved in the subscription management process.
Furthermore, many actions are available using the 2CO account, such as:
- view the status of your order even if the payment is incomplete
- track and view your complete purchase history
- download and print your invoices
- find your activation code
- renew your subscription
- enable or disable the automatic renewal of your Bitdefender service
- find the support details for the purchased Bitdefender product
- edit your personal and billing information
So, there are several cancelation options to choose from and you should pick the one that works best for you.
