An OLD Topic for backing up Bitdefender Settings but Something MUST be done. [MOVED]
Bitdefender, Please, Please add a backup / restore Bitdefender Settings for every user's sanity. The inability to backup crutial app data is paramount to maintaining a network of computers with the same settings. The idea that you do not have this capability is criminal. Just be like Nike and "Do It".
It would also be nice in case you need to run a repair or had to do a complete uninstall/reinstall, to be able to import and restore those settings.2

It seems Bitdefender will keep refusing to add this "feature", so here's a rudimentary way I found to achieve what you want:
Go to the folder: "C:\ProgramData\Bitdefender\Desktop\.settings\data\" enter a folder that contains a random identifier, NOT the 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 one.
Copy the files in there (.data and .data.backup) and then paste them doing the same procedure but on the other computer.
Those files contains all the settings including exclusions if I'm not wrong, so I hope this helps you.
It would appear BD doesn't care what a multitude of users request - both the ability to save/export/import settings, and the ability to have a one-click "turn everything off for a period of time" instead of having to go through each setting one by one.
It's a great program but in some respects, extremely not user-friendly.0
You can also share your feedback with bitdefender support team by dropping them an email at [email protected] and asking them to get some information from the product developers.
The support team will reply back to your query within next 24-48 hours excluding weekends.
