Bloatware

I would like to know if my subscription (Total Security) includes any kind of utility for removing bloatware. I have a quite new desktop PC from HP and there seems to be a lot of pre-installed bloatware on it. I have already rather brutally removed most of the HP Wolf Security program that, to begin with, prevented me from opening PDF documents (it opened them inside some other HP app, which I found very annoying).

I know I can get bloatware removal programs but I would prefer to do it through Bitdefender if possible.

Unfortunately, you will need to remove the bloatware manually, one app at a time, as Bitdefender does not include such a tool in its security solutions.

HP does love installing bloatware on their PCs. Been there and done that a couple of times. Good luck :)

Indeed, we don't have a bloatware removal, but removing those needless apps from the installed programs list should do the trick..

Try using malwarebytes adwcleaner since bitdefender cannot remove bloatware.

Download and run Malwarebytes AdwCleaner: https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner

If it does not find anything, nothing will. It has many times found HP bloatware applications on my laptop and removed them.
