How can I clear the history of blocked threats from Bitdefender Central?

Options

I think there has to be some way to clear the history of blocked threats in Bitdefender Central to protect the privacy of each user. What do you think and do you know a way to do it?

    I tried going into the right corner, the Bell icon of the Central website, where there are options to clear notifications, and..I can't remember what the second one was, but I choose the clear them, and now it shows no new notifications. But, there are still the threats shown on the main Dashboard and also associated with the device when you choose those.

    I texted with Chat, as I couldn't find a way to clear them either, as there is also a 30-day timeline. The Chat representative said they would eventually clear, and when I asked after how long, past 30 days? At that, he said he would escalate that as a feature request, for us to be able to delete that history. Unless @Alexandru_BD knows something other than that.

    Hello,

    There is an option to clear all notifications in Central, exactly where you pointed out @Scott. Indeed, the Dashboard will still display a record of threats detected in the past 7 days and these will eventually clear out by themselves after 30 days. You are right, currently there's no option to clear this information from the Dashboard manually. I have noticed that the ticket you have raised was escalated as a feature request to our development teams and I must thank you for that. 🤜🤛

    I can't understand why Bitdefender doesn't quickly implement an option for this, an antivirus that is supposed to, among other things, protect our privacy when browsing the Internet.

    It sounds like they at least know our concerns and have escalated the request. We just may have to wait a while to see if it gets accepted and implemented. It may, or may not. They have had a lot on their plates lately.

    I just received this reply in my email. As Alexandru mentioned, they are cleared after 30 days. I just appreciated that it was written by a kind and gracious Bitdefender engineer.
