VPN with PNC Bank
I bank with PNC in the US. PNC does not allow login when using VPN, which seem to rather conspicuously defeat a main purpose of VPN. You have known of this issue for some time based on the other discussions I see. What do you have, or what is coming to allow safe connections with our Banks. I'm certain PNC is not the only one. Thanks...

Hi @DiMo
Unfortunately, that is probably on the banking website's end detecting a VPN is being used, which Bitdefender has no control of. I know adding that site to the Split Tunneling of the VPN also defeats the purpose, as it bypasses the VPN tunnel. You could try connecting to a different server if you have Premium VPN, but that may be blocked, too.
If you have Windows with Bitdefender installed, you could use Safepay, for its security and online protection features.
Kind regards,
Scott

Hello @DiMo,
This could be related to an additional verification process on the bank side, where if a secure environment such as Safepay or let's say a VPN encryption is being used, it triggers some warnings on their end. I don't think all banks require this, but there are cases where, due to the over vigilance of several banks, connecting a VPN for example often triggers fraud warnings when you use it to conduct your online banking.
You can follow @Scott's instructions above to use the split tunneling feature and try Safepay as well.
Here you will find some information on why some financial institutions won't let you use VPN technology:
