Any thoughts, also my laptop is a HP Envy so I believe the third file path is for HP.
Also remember I purchased this computer today, so it is a fresh install of windows.
Also I had a similar event happen to my gamming computer when I flashed the bios and reinstalled windows.
I contacted Bitdefender support, also I know that the laptop I have uses a HP program to update the BIOS, also the drive is encrypted when I got the machine from the store Yesterday.
I wonder if the HP program called HP PC Hardware Diagnostics has anything to do with this?
Also I dont really think its anything malicious, because that would take some very complex code, why make a complex virus in the boot sector of your drive when you can send people fake emails that would probably be more successful.
