Why is Bitdefender VPN blocking my comcast e-mail account?
When Bitdefender is enabled on my iMac, I am unable to send or receive e-mail using my Comcast e-mail account unless I disable Bitdefender. My other e-mail accounts are working. Have others had similar problems and if so, what is the solution?

Do you have Bitdefender Premium VPN?
In fact Comcast blocks Bitdefender VPN. Big sites know current VPN addresses.
Change the VPN address (country) in Bitdefender VPN and try again.
Does it work ?
If it does not work, there is the expert support team.

Hello,
Many email providers will block access when you use a VPN because they see that someone is trying to access your account from a location that is not expected for that account. Consider this a protective measure.
Comcast supports VPN access through your wireless gateway, using any security setting you choose. If you're using your own WiFi router connected to your wireless gateway, make sure that bridge mode is enabled on your wireless gateway.

Thanks to all. Bridge mode was already enabled. Changing the country setting seems to have worked.
