[MAC] Boot & scheduled scans

Hello - researching BitDefender for Mac and after searching this forum and Google, I was unable to find answers to the following questions:

1) Can boot-time scans be monitored, disabled, or configured\controlled in any way?

2) Can scheduled scans be configured?

The Antivirus for Mac provides three types of scanning: Quick Scan, System Scan and Custom Scan. The boot-time scans and the scheduled scans cannot be configured at this level, and I have inserted a related discussion below, for more context:
