Why does WEB protection keep turning off on my iPhones?

Web protection keeps turning off my on iPhones. I have Bitdefender & VPN running at the same time. Is VPN causing the WEB protection to turn off?

I have an Android TCL30XL phone and the Web.Protection feature keeps disabling. I.have to go into Accessibility to find out that Bitdefender Mobile Security has been set to off.

I've installed MALWAREBYTES as a backup.
