Android phone, camera takes 10 seconds before video starts recording

After installing BD on my Samsung S8+ , instead of the video recording like it use to when i press the button it takes 10 seconds. when i look at the recorded video that 10 seconds is like I still picture. I also did a factory wipe of my phone prior to installing BD. So to be fare not sure if it was the wipe or the BD.

    Never had issues with the camera, when i press the red button the video starts recording the same moment i press the button (after less than a second).

  • I also have no problems recording videos on my RealMe8 with BD Mobile Security 3.3.228.2381, they start immediately.

    Hi I finally figured out what it was, just replying back incase someone has the same issue. It appears to have been the SD card. possibly either a really slow SD card, or just the fact the camera and phone ( did the same with outgoing phone calls, 10 second pause) that the pictures were going to/ or Android had to initialize the sd card each time, IDK. I removed the SD card , and inserted just the sim back into the old phone and the camera started recording instantly, phone calls , outgoing instantly. I got a new phone
