Scan Flash Drive setting cannot be saved
After the latest update for crypto mining, restarted the system. After this update, on every restart device scan for flash drive is automatically enabled. Even after changing to ASK EVERYTIME, after every restart device scan is auto enabled.
Running windows 11 with latest update 23H2 and no other security except Bitdefender total security.
SOLUTION PROVIDED THROUGH CHAT: Please try to right-click on the Bitdefender application on the desktop and choose "Run as Administrator". After that, please go ahead and make the change on the flash drive scan option. Tell me if it remains enabled!
Also, if the issue still persists, please try to reinstall the product.
FEEDBACK: TRIED THROUGH "Run as Administrator", ALSO, TWICE REINSTALLED THE PRODUCT. CLEAN INSTALL.
STILL, THE ISSUE PRESENT AND ANNOYING AFTER EVERY RESTART. AS I HAVE GOT A FLASH DRIVE CONNECTED TO THE SYSTEM ALWAYS.
IT'S A BUG FROM THE SOFTWARE. DO, CORRECT IT AT THE EARLIEST AND RESOLVE IT VIA AN UPDATE. DO, REPLY ONCE DONE.
