How do I delete a scheduled, custom scan that I created?
Running Bit Defender 27.0.30.136 on Windows 10. I created a scheduled scan that I want to delete and just run it manually from time to time(i.e. less frequently than monthly, which is the longest interval allowed). I only see an option to edit that scan- nothing to delete it. How do I get rid of it?

Hello @clira,
There is a drop-down menu next to your custom scan with the option to delete. Simply click on the 3 dots to reveal it, as shown in the screenshot:

It's not there for me. My only option is Edit. See screen clip. Maybe what I have running is a scheduled scan and not a custom scan per se.....but I can't find any listing of scheduled scans.

Hi,
The option to delete is unavailable because according to the screenshot, you do not have any custom scans scheduled. The features displayed there are the default ones, quick scan and system scan.

The question was NEVER about "Custom Scans"!
The question was about canceling or changing the timing of the Default scans.

The title of this discussion clearly says "scheduled, custom scan". Maybe you had another question?

Why not just answer the question, or actually fix the bug??? I have the same question! I removed the "Custom Scan" from the list, but I cannot find a way to delete the System Scans or Quick Scans that are scheduled. PLEASE FIX THIS! GIVE US A WAY TO CANCEL WHATEVER SCHEDULER YOU ARE USING! IF YOU CAN'T MANAGE THAT, THEN AT LEAST KEEP ANY OTHER USER FROM HAVING THIS RUN-AROUND.
IF YOU CAN'T ANSWER THE QUESTION, IS THERE AN OBVIOUS WORK AROUND…LIKE HAVING TO COMPLETELY UNINSTALL OR FORCE AN UPDATE THAT REMOVES THESE SETTINGS!!!
PLEASE ANSWER, BECAUSE THE ONCE I INSTALLED A VPN, THE PC AND VPN GET OVERWHELMED WITH THE PROCESSOR. I HAVE THE POWER SET TO LOW. I ALSO SET IT TO RUN ONLY ONCE A MONTH…HOPING IT WON'T KILL THE PC AGAIN. PLEASE BE CREATIVE AND GIVE ME A WORKAROUND. THANKS.

The System Scan and Quick Scan shown on the Antivirus/Manage Scan window, are the default app scan options. For those who may want to tweak, enable scheduled scans (3 dots drop down options) and cannot be removed, only self created custom scans can be. You can adjust and schedule the scan that may have been created for those 2 default scans from the drop down options.
No one that I know of, or have been aware of has asked for those two beneficial scan options to have the ability to be removed, so as far as I know of, and thus it's never been considered to do so.
